bragging (just a little)

So, i'm going to brag on myself and my husband for a few...I'm so proud of us for all the money we have been saving while he's away esp. since neither one of us know how to handle money very well & before we got married we were not good at saving money at all, the whole time we've been together neither one of us has had any money in our savings account and we were both pretty much living pay check to pay check, which sometimes sucked royally, but now i feel SO good that we are NOT living pay check to pay check, our bills get paid on time & we have extra & move some to savings. Moving back home during this deployment was a good idea esp. since we had no money saved up, now when he arrives back home we can move out again with NO problems of running ourselves too short. I am very happy my husband has not blown his paychecks while in ports, because to be honest that was something i was a bit worried about with him, because if he has access to it and it's there most likely he will spend it, but i am so proud of him for thinking of our future together and refraining from spending too much! he got to do the things he wanted to do, enjoyed his time in port, and had money left over for me to pay the bills and do some fun things for myself. I hope we can continue this when he comes home...i'm sure we will since we're in the right state of mind now and want to prepare for whatever our future brings!! I am a happy wife tonight :)

Lucky i'm in love with my best friend

So, I've had food poisoning for over 24 hours now...i'm feeling a little better now but last night was horrible!!! absolutely horrible. I emailed Adam and let him know that i wasn't feeling very well and told him why then at 1am my time my phone rang and it was Adam checking up on me telling me he just read my e-mail and went and found a phone ASAP to call me so he could try to help me feel better!!! It was so sweet of him and EXACTLY what i needed at that time!! I'm one lucky girl! even though he wasn't here to make me feel better just hearing his voice worked a little magic and i finally got to get a little sleep!! I called in sick & just rested all day...did some house hunting ;) and then went to see my new Baby Cousin, Davis :) he's so adorable!!!! Also, other good nes i am booking our trip to Disney World tomorrow!!!! whoo hoo...then a new countdown will begin ;) Adam has never been to Disney World let alone Florida so i am VERY excited that i get to experience this with him!!! I'm looking forward to the drive down there with him...music, windows down, & just us :) It's going to be an awesome trip!! Right now i'm eating some soup hoping it will settle my stomach a little and then i'm just going to read my book and relax for the rest of the evening! I hope all the wonderful Mother's had an awesome day yesterday!! and hopefully i'll feel better soon i've got too much stuff going on to deal with being sick right now. till next time... :)

Mother's Day :)

Happy Mother's Day to ALL the wonderful Mother's out there! esp MINE!! Today, got up early and went to church and ate lunch at my Mema's house...typical Mother's Day here! My brother has his Bachelor party today so him and my other brother and my dad all went to a baseball game. So i've decided to take my mom to the movies to see Water for Elephants :) this will be the 2nd time i've seen it!!! and im excited :) The days keep flying by...if you haven't noticed it is now MAY! :) I'm very excited to see May not too much longer till the Husband is home! I'm working on booking our trip to Disney World this week! SO excited! We were going to do a wedding ceremony, but since we haven't had any positive feedback from his side of the family really we've decided to just not even worry about it anymore. My parents have offered to pay for our trip to Disney World in exchange for the wedding ceremony that they were going to have to throw us! Which HEY paying for Disney is MORE than fine with me...i'd much rather have more money to save than pay for Disney :) Not much else going on...i've got a busy couple of weeks coming up!! but i'll try to update as much as i can! Sorry this one is so short just really not much going on :) till next time... ;)

But I know soon we'll be together, and i can't wait till then...

Well, hello blog world!!! sorry it's been awhile again i've been cheating on you with Tumblr ;) Well, it's EASTER here! So Happy Easter to Everyone(and if you don't celebrate Easter, i'm sorry) nothing much has been going on...STILL kicking this deployment's ass..the days just keep flying by & i hope they continue to do so. I am so excited for him to come home though i can barely take it anymore!! haha This week the month of April will be OVER and thank goodness because April has been such a busy month...May will be kind of BUSY but not as busy thank the Lord. May does has some exciting things though...Eric Church's concert, My future Sister in Law's bachelorette party that i am throwing for her, Strawberry Hill races(like a mini Kentucky Derby), My Friend's Kat & Cullen's Wedding then on Memorial Day i am OFF to the Outer Banks for the week for my Brother's Wedding the following Saturday on June 4th :) Lot's of things to keep me BUSY & MOVING through this deployment. This deployment has taught me so much & taught me to never take my Husband for granted...he is the best thing to ever happen to me & i fall more in love with him each day...my love for him was always strong, but now it's just beyond strong i can't even explain it. I can't wait for him to come home and have a wedding for our family & friends and go to Disney World for a whole week...He's never been so i am beyond excited to share this experience with him!! It's RACE TIME this weekend & i'm SO excited :) Race Day are my favorite times in the spring and the fall...i can always feel when it's coming and i get soooo excited. Since Hubby can't be here i'm bringing my bestie, Brittany, we're always a crazy twosome when we're together so it should be a BLAST! :) :) Well, i will try not to cheat so much and write more often ;) Hope you all have an awesome EASTER & the Easter Bunny is good to you all. till next time...

Never misjudge the most faithful heart of your beloved

Well Ya'll it's been awhile...let's see what has been happening...Well the country decided to go crazy when there was almost a government shutdown! The most people that went crazy i noticed were the Military Wives!! Me being a Military Wife myself I did not freak out one BIT about this whole Government Shutdown and them not paying the Military, a lot of these Military Wives were blaming Obama & making statuses about how can they stop Military Pay and yadda yadda...Well, let's get some things straight first of all...this Country seriously needs to stop blaming Obama for every little thing and sit down and take a Government class or a civics class or something!!! Obama had no control over what was happening this was ALL Congress(yes, Obama did make threats if they didn't come to an agreement, but of course he did!! wouldn't you if you wanted something done? yes) and also this whole Government Shutdown had NOTHING to do with the Military...the Military was NOT being targeted Obama and ALL Congressmen agreed that the Military deserved to be paid no matter what! this whole thing was about freaking Planned Parenthood THAT was what couldn't be agreed on and ALSO the one time the Government DID shutdown a BILL was passed to ensure the Military STILL GOT PAID! Of course, the government Shtudown was avoided and everything is A ok(right now) and i can't tell you enough how glad i am and how OVER IT i was. People were getting straight up ridiculous with their bashing of Obama. Other than that mess life has been fairly breezy :) Babe is in port and i hope having a little bit of fun...i've heard that the signal there is kinda crappy so i'm guessing no skype :( i woke up at 7:30am to be prepared because he told me to be ready today after 8am...well it's now 11:14am and have heard nothing :( So it's a bit disappointing that the signal sucks, but the only thing that matters is he tried to skype! :) but hopefully i get some emails and maybe a call later? ;) that would be nice!!! Well, Saturday i'm supposed to be in a Wedding, but that's just not happening because i am frankly over my cousin and how rude she is and how i don't even KNOW anything about where im supposed to be am i supposed to have my hair done what jewelry she wants us to wear...nothing! and it;s already Tuesday if i needed to make a hair appointment i'm a little late huh? So, obviously me being in her Wedding isn't that important to her anyways! but speaking of Weddings...Adam and I have decided to have one afterall :) He's the oldest Child & Grandchild and i didn't want to take that away from his Mom and Grandparents & of course my Mema has been asking me everytime she's seeen me when am i having my real wedding so she can watch me get married...So, i've come to the conclusion to try and throw one together when he comes home :) as long as i find out his leave date in time!!!! hopefully this month :) Not much has been going on though...just patiently waiting for his homecoming, doing school work, working, going to the gym, & hanging out with friends!! I hope to have another update again soon...can't believe we're almost at the downhill side of this deployment :) :) ready for it to be over and ready to have him back home!!! i'll update as soon as i can...till next time xoxo

a little annoyed

So, i'm a bit annoyed & pissed off right now. I went to a party tonight that one of the wives threw and i had invited one of my friends from home to go with me...when i asked her she was ALL about it...then the day before the party my friend texted me and said that they had just left the Dr's office and found out they had tonsilitis & would not be able to make it to the party...ok..completely understandable...i've been there, i've had tonsilitis strep and was miserable!!!! So, i invited someone else to come along which is fine...that girl rocks!! but, then i get home tonight and find out...my friend that was sick went to work today, went to make a pot, and went to someone else's house...Now, for somone thats SOOOOO sick and can't make it to a party ith me sure did do a hell of a lot tonight. So, i'm just annoyed that if she didn't want to go with me then why didn't she just say that??? i mean i know she was probably sick but, come on...don't go out the night you were supposed to come to a party with me if you're THAT sick.

A cold beer on a Friday Night, A pair of jeans that fit just right...

A cold beer is exactly what i need tonight...after the fabulous day i had(sike!) Well, it started out okay...I went and got the girl i watch like usual and today was a no gymnastics day so that means i have to stay till 5:30pm...which was not good today because i had tons of errands to run later...but, i sucked it up and stayed anyways! Well, her Grandma got there at about 5pm so i was like YES i can leave a little earlier than i thought...her Grandma parked in the driveway but, in a way that i THOUGHT i could still maneuver out of the driveway...hahah BOY was i wrong!!! So, i'm backing out and i think i'm doing a good job...i'm in a hurry and trying to avoid her car and the little girl standing in the yard....While i'm backing out as the girl i watch yells DITCH! yeah...that's where i found myself...in the ditch...and stuck!!! My wheel was right up against the concrete and it would not pull forward or reverse and i couldn't turn the wheel...fabulous...faboulous...faboulous. Not only am i embarrassed but, i'm also running even MORE late...and of course, the husband is gone & the dad is at work an hour away. So, i call my mom and she calls my brother and sister in law! i knew all i needed to do was put it in neutral and push...but, unfortunately i only had a grandma and a 10 year old to work with...no beuno! so, finally my brother and sister in law and uncle all arrive and we got my truck out!! of course, not before they took pictures and and asked me how in the world did i get myself stuck like that...what can i say? i'm a genius. Bad Luck follows me like it's my job. So, of course that took 2 hours and i didn't get home till about 7!!! But, finally my mom and i got to run our errands which took forever...and my mom took the wrong exit(she swears she didn't but, she did!) and spent too long in David's Bridal to order another Bridesmaid's dress(dear friends & family...stop getting married!!!!) Which going into David's Bridal is HELL enough...then to target & to martin's...and by 9:00pm i STILL had not eaten...all day to be exact so, just imagine the kind of mood i was in...I wanted to Noodles but, being 9pm they were closed so i settled for Chik fil a...which i barely tasted cause i scarfed it down! and, i decided to give up SODA for lent...so my caffeine withdrawl headaches have been a pain in the ass. but, now i'ts 12am and i just got out of the shower and i have to wrap my future SIL's bridal shower present(which is huuuuuge, btw) and hopefully go to sleep on time to enjoy those wonderful festivities tomorrow...let's hope i'm done babysitting early tomorrow because after today and tomorrow i'm going to need a cold one(or 2 or 3)
I also am in need of a pair of jeans that fight just right...no such thing when it comes to me...I have a pair of american eagle jeans size 2 and they fall off of me...but 1's are too tight!!! ugh...i don't get it :(
today is just not my day...
