So i totally forgot i had this thing...shows how much im good at keeping journals :) Well, Adam and I moved to Norfolk! we got an apartment...whoo hoo...i moved from my hometown of 23 years to a new place...let's just say in the past 16 days i have felt the following emotions...Excited, Scared, Lonely, Sad, Lost, Confused, Happy, & Determined!!! right now i'm at the determined stage...i am determined to make this experience a GREAT one! Yes, i'm alone & away from my family and friends BUT i just need to let it go...they aren't that far & i just need to put myself out there and find some friends :) i'm hoping for the best!!! Adam goes on his LAST underway on Thursday before the big D in Jan...it's my trial at being here alone. i'm so nervous!!! but i know i'll be okay...i'm going home for the first 4 days because i just have some things to do & because i want too :) I'm hoping to kick this deployments ASS next year!! I am so nervous about him being gone...but i'm just ready to GET IT OVER WITH! I can't wait for the Christmas Season...ready to get my christmas shopping done & out of the way...and to hopefully spend the holiday with Adam(if the Navy doesn't decide to screw that up!) Well, it's getting late & i'm sure Adam can hear my pounding away on the keys out here! i'll update again when there is something going on...or if i just want to ramble! :)
